Motorcycle Maids Fashion Show- 20th of October

October 6, 2017

In July I was asking myself who was the first women motorcycle club and we learned a lot about Moto Maids that was charted in 1941.
During that time, was hard to be a female rider but, nowadays everybody can enjoy this passion. Still, we have issues with the gear...you know ...our curves and body futures :) so isn't that easy!
The UK Statistics On Bikes And Motorcycle Licence Holders has confirmed there are now over half a million women holding full motorcycle licenses.
But even when more ladies are finding their passion into motorcycling, the lady riders aren't taken into consideration by the motorcycle industry.

But today we aren't talking about motorcycle clubs, but we are discussing about events for female riders.

Having this thought I've found out about this event:

Motorcycle Maids Fashion Show

Is the first edition of this event and we are proud to share it with you https://www.facebook.com/events/205216413342538/?ti=icl

The event will be on the 20th of October starting in the afternoon at  Chequered Flag a motorcycle hot spot with tradition for the Cornwall bikers. The Café is a Biker's dream, full of some of the coolest bike theme memorabilia in Cornwall! The Chequered Flag Café is situated right off the A38 PL14 3PG and a perfect pit-stop for all. The Café is also available for hire for small parties and gatherings. The seating area facilitates ride outs, training and the TV is capable of showing your GoPro and action videos (this is ideal for rider training).

You don't have to be a biker to hang here, the Café is a pitstop/service station welcome to all, we even have a selection of ice-cream available! http://www.chequeredflagcafe.co.uk/

What will be about: an event where you can see what the southwest has to offer to the motorcycle maids. You need to come and try more than one item before you buy something.
Tickets are 5£ or 4£ if you preorder them, in aid of Cornwall Air Ambulance.
All tickets will receive a free glass of prosecco or fruit juice.
