If you want to ride into central London, is better to check if you will need to pay the new charge for motorcycles( and other vehicles) - called ULTRA LOW EMISSION ZONE. From today, 08th of Apil 2019 the charge went live. Sadiq Khan, mayor of London, is introducing a 24 hour, Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ), meaning vehicles driving within the new charging zones, who do not meet Euro 6 emissions will be charged per day, in addition to the daily congestion charge. I've just returned from a short ride and as well from MCN Motorcycle Show at Excel London. In the morning around 11, me, my OH and a good friend we went riding to the motorcycle show kinda with big expectations. Because of MCN, because of London, because of one of the biggest trendsetters in the world.
Arrived there, we were lucky because we parked the bikes in an Excel hanger with security if you can say security in the UK, even though was a big sign that stated

Days off means ride on!!!
Where to? Germany! Why? New bike...new BMW...so need to see BMW Museum. But first, let's stop and say hi!
On the 10th of October started my 4 days riding journey. The dashboard showed me 18034 miles. Let's start! The beemer is ready, the backpack is in position, strapped, full tank, full gear, and nice weather forecast.
But a journey can't start without little "surprises" made by my GPS, as usual. This time was my fault. I've forgotten the "Avoid

In July I was asking myself who was the first women motorcycle club and we learned a lot about Moto Maids that was charted in 1941.
During that time, was hard to be a female rider but, nowadays everybody can enjoy this passion. Still, we have issues with the gear...you know ...our curves and body futures :) so isn't that easy!
The UK Statistics On Bikes And Motorcycle Licence Holders has confirmed there are now over half a million women holding full motorcycle licenses.
The last couple of days were mind-blowing for me. Two weeks ago I was fitting my new tyres on my old lady - Suzuki Sv650S at the garage and there was a bike: Honda NC700. Looked good so I just tried it. Wow, such a good position.
I want a new bike for my crazy long rides but, I don't have any clue what bike I want.
As a phone addict, straight away I've googled it, seen the pros&cons of the bike and found a nice NC700 advert on gumtree.co.uk. Email the seller but, nothing.
What can I do in on a Saturday: attend an event for setting a new world record
When: 26th August 2017
Why: Worlds Largest all female Biker GP track parade Let's start the day! Bring it on!
I'm all geared up and heading to meet up with a lady biker on M25. Arrived at the petrol station and the bike of my dreams arrives too. It's a classy lady on the bike of my dreams: Ducati Diavel Carbon. I looked at her with admiration because I didn't see many ladies
Sooo this is the story that happened yesterday. My own Thursday adventure.
I was riding home. Knowing that I will run out of fuel soon, I've stopped at a petrol station. Of course, the card payment didn't work, no cash, but still I knew I have fuel to go home and back to work in the morning. Left the petrol station and stop at the light, the bike is in neutral. The light turned green, 1 gear and nothing! My biked died! First reaction: what a beginner you are :)) !!!
I was looking for something on an FB group where I'm a member and I see a name: Bra Run! I was amused because found it funny and interesting. The photo shared with that name has a lot of red, pink and motorcycles. OK! You have my attention now!
I continue reading the post because I want to see what is about. At the beginning though that the event is a normal, funny, costumes&motorcycle joy run&ride. I read more, I have FB, Google and I know how to use them :D so I search m
Ok, finished with the 2-day riding, 828 miles. Had a good night rest but wake up with soaring hands but happy.
On the 9th of August, one of my best lady friends of mine landed and visited me. She was "my birthday gift" from home.
Sooo happy, birthday gifts: books about female riders and about a true love story between a biker that isn't among us anymore and his lady and dream catcher friendship bracelet (dream catcher meaning-native Americans believe that the night air is f
11th of August! Yes was my birthday!!!
So let's see how the second day of riding will be.
This was the itinerary https://goo.gl/maps/B9za62njuKR2
Wake up around 7 AM, packed everything and went to have breakfast. Looked outside the window: raindrops on the window and cloudy. Open the weather app and in Devon& Cornwall area were 40% chances of rain! Sounds better than 90% from yesterday.
Had my breakfast, enjoyed the nice view that the restaurant offers you and as well a s
11th of August! Yes was my birthday!!! And I'm writing about a riding that I made a couple of days ago.
In fact, this ride started a year ago, before my bday. I was looking at the map of Great Britain and wondering what I want to do special for my 30th birthday...so I said that I want to see the southernmost point of the UK and ride my bike there. OK! Google it and I've found out the southernmost point of the mainland: National Trust Lizard Point. Next step, make the itinera
After I've attended 'World's Largest All Female Biker Meet' on the 16th of July when a new world record was established by 1132 women riding their own motorcycles, I found out about the next another great event hosted by Moto Advisor (Nimi Patel and Sherrie Woolf).
This event will set another milestone in the women motorcyclist community. Female riders want to create and set the NEW world record for "World's Largest all Female GP Track Parade". (Is the first event for this t
If you wonder how many ladies ride a motorcycle in the UK, I can tell you that minimum 1132! I bet there are a lot more and I do believe that in the future will be more ladies enjoying this hobby. On the 16 July 2017 at Lynn's Raven Cafe Whitchurch SY13 2AF UK a small group of friends made it possible and for that, we salute them! Everything started in Ballina, New South Wales, Australia on 7 September 2014 when 221 females riders established the world record of "Most Women
